The girls met again to catch "The Legend of the Magnificent Moon" presented by iTheatre at the National Museum of Singapore. The unique thing about this show was that there was a 10 minutes workshop for the children after the play. The storytellers cum actresses were 2 ladies and they really talked alot. At first, we were worried that the girls may not understand, thus may not enjoy. Luckily, our worries were unfounded as not only did they listen intently to the actresses, they understood the lengthy dialogues! At the 10 minutes workshop after the play, each child was given a picture of a plain moon, glitter glues and some scraps to exercise their creativity. Krissa did a mean interpretation of her moon! I took some pictures of her moon and her together with one of the actresses using my iPhone which unfortunately "passed away" in my toilet bowl, so all the pictures and video clips which I did not synchronise with my computer were gone.....sob, sob......
The play fell on Children's Museum Week, so there were a few activities in the museum for the children at no extra cost and the gals enjoyed all of them :)
**Krissa also caught "The Gruffalo" organised by iTheatre at Alliance Francaise with Junyi gor-gor and both children really enjoyed it. Even to date, Krissa would still perform The Gruffalo Roar!!
After watching these shows presented by iTheatre, I am impress with their quality productions and will definitely support their works in future.
